Delmarva Christian Schools announces the appointment of two new members to their Board of Directors. Joining the DCS Board are well-respected business and community leaders Christian Hudson and Jay Stevens.
“These two men embody the spirit and vision of Delmarva Christian. Their level of expertise, leadership, and passion will continue to strengthen an already vibrant and highly credentialed Christ-centered Board,” said Head of School Mike Vonhof. “We are truly honored they have agreed to serve alongside these other men and women.”
Christian Hudson is a managing partner of Hudson Management, a boutique family-owned investment company. Operated along with his brother, Hudson Management manages a portfolio of assets in the United States, Canada, and Costa Rica.
Currently, Hudson serves on the Board of Directors for several national businesses as well as other local nonprofit foundations. When not focusing on the acquisition and/or investment of small businesses, Hudson enjoys hunting, gardening, and spending time with his family. Currently, Hudson has four children, all enrolled at Delmarva Christian Milton Campus (DCMC), while his wife, Julie, is a member of the DCS Parent Ambassador Team.
Jay Stevens is the director and personal financial specialist with Jefferson, Urian, Doane & Sterner, a certified public accounting firm.
Previously a DCS Board member and treasurer, Stevens is returning to the DCS Board to serve once again. Currently, two of Steven’s children attend Delmarva Christian High School (DCHS) while his wife, Sharon, coaches the girls’ varsity basketball team. Their eldest daughter is a 2014 DCHS alumnus.
