We still have several brochures still out, remember the phone calls increase the number of brochures returned from 20% to 60+%.

1) Get your list – don’t have it? Not a problem see Mrs. Parsons when she is at DCHS.

2) Make the calls and indicate the following……

“P” you personally spoke to them – face to face or on the phone

“M” you left a message

“N” did not make any contact with that person

……. this is for tracking purposes.

3) Have a parent sign the list indicating that you completed your calls

4) Return the list to Mrs. Parsons.

It is that easy……

We will have normal hours of operation and same bus times.

Students should wear modest jeans / work pants, work gloves, appropriate shoes, and their 2010 Legacy t-shirt.

They may bring water and a small snack.  Lunch will be at DCHS at 1 pm followed by chapel with Mr. & Mrs. Burris.

Transportation will be on DCHS Busses or Staff vehicles  (small locations).

Students should wear modest jeans or work pants and their 2010 Legacy T Shirts (to be given to the students later this week).

Students should bring work gloves, water bottle and small snack.

Lunch will be back at DCHS approximately 1 pm with Chapel to follow.  Busses will run both am & pm according to normal schedule.  Please note we will serve rain or shine, please dress appropriately.

Remember to qualify for the first level incentive – $25 toward your choice of The Royal Ball Ticket, An Amusement park trip, or a JTerm trip – students were to mail 25 brochures to people they had a relationship with and make the follow up phone calls.

There will be a sample script for the students to follow that simply asks the person if they received and read the brochure.  We do not want the students to ask for money, we only want them to ask the person to read the information.

Next Friday, April 23rd will the the day of service…..  More information to follow.

The juniors were a close second with 78% of their class participating.

63% of the freshmen participated and 50% of the seniors participated.

Thank you again to all who took the time to complete the brochures and to help make this fundraiser a success.  Please pray now for the hands that will receive the brochures and God’s blessings upon them and DCHS!

Over all DCHS students turned in 2,314 brochures out of a possible 4010 for a total of 57.7% and we had 71% of the student body participate!!  Well Done….
