Students joined the youth group from Igreja Mais Que Vencedores (More Than Conquerors Church) to be trained in ministry and street evangelism. We then, along with the Brazilian youth, had opportunities to do street and house-to-house evangelism and work with a local children’s ministry that reaches out both practically and spiritually to almost 100 of the area’s poorest children and their families. We also prepared a creative service for the youth service and another for the main church.

Most Christians today live very similarly to non-believers. Evidence that we have been spiritually transformed, renewed in our mind, and are presenting ourselves as a living sacrifice to God have all but disappeared. To counter this, the Truth Project was developed by Focus on the Family. The Truth Project is a DVD-based small group curriculum that examines
the relevance and importance of developing and living a Christian worldview in daily life. Fieldtrips to Philadelphia and Washington DC, in pursuit of evidence for Christianity in American’s history and government, are part of the curriculum.
