Welcome

Delmarva Christian High School (DCHS) exists to support Christian families in the education of their children from a distinctly Christian worldview. DCHS will not discriminate on the basis of race, color, gender, national origin or ethnic background. DCHS will attempt to be discerning in the areas of Christian belief and practice as to whether we can serve the needs of the parents and students.

WE BELIEVE…

As an extension of the Biblical mandate that parents are the student’s primary ‘educators,’ we believe that our program will best serve those who know the Lord as their personal Savior. We believe that families that do not share a Biblical worldview will be uncomfortable with our expectations and philosophy.

We believe a Christian to be someone who has accepted the work of Jesus Christ on the cross as payment for our sins and that salvation is by faith alone through God’s grace. We are non denominational in nature and are supported by many Bible-believing churches and organizations.

OUR VISION

The vision of Delmarva Christian High School is to reinforce Christian family values and to support Christian families in the education of their children from a distinctly Christian world-view.

OUR PARTNERSHIP

We acknowledge that parents have the primary responsibility for training up their children and we see ourselves as partners who have been given the privilege of being an extension of that mandate.

OUR MISSION

We are committed to our mission of training students spiritually, academically, and physically to know and be prepared to accomplish God’s will in their lives. This is monitored by the administration of yearly national assessments and the Senior Testimony Project required of all students.

CERTIFICATION AND ACCREDITATION

DCHS is non-denominational in nature and supported by many Bible-believing churches and organizations. DCHS teachers must be certified by the state of Delaware (or reciprocal state) or be certifiable by the Association of Christian Schools International (ACSI). Additionally, DCHS is dually accredited by the Commission on Secondary Schools of the Middle States Association and the Association of Christian Schools International.

AS YOU CONSIDER DCHS…

As you consider Delmarva Christian High School for your child’s secondary education, please do the following:

1. Pray. Ask God to guide you as you and your student decide whether DCHS is the best place for his/her secondary education. Remember, he/she will be taught from a distinctively Christian point of view. The decision to make application to a Christian school should only be made after weighing the benefits as well as the sacrifices that may be necessary.

2. Read the application carefully. It is extensive and is intended to provide as much necessary information as possible so that we can help educate your child to the best of our ability. Any worthwhile endeavor takes time and careful thought.

3. Complete the Admissions Application. All sections of the application must be completed, including the parental/legal guardian signature, in order to continue the application process and schedule an interview.  Click here to view the application.
