200Plus! Program

The Board of Directors has approved the 200Plus! Program to provide an incentive to loyal DCHS supporters for their role in attracting new applicants to the school.

Our goal is to break and go beyond the 200 student level this year as we continue to bring a Christ-centered secondary education to the Delmarva Region.

Current DCHS families and alumni would be offered the opportunity to receive monetary incentives for referring students who successfully complete one year at DCHS.  These incentives would be structured as follows:

Referring (Current) Families:

• The referring family will receive a refund of one tenth (1/10) of their paid tuition and fees on the 30^th of June following the referred students successful first year.
• Successful completion means a referred student completes a full year at DCHS and earns 8.75 credits.
• The referred student and their family would have complied with all the provisions of the Parent-School Covenant.

Alumni:

• Total payment will be $500 with disbursement as follows:
  • $250 directly to referring alumni.
  • $250 to a newly established Alumni Scholarship account that would provide funds for the alumni to designate through a separately developed scholarship process.

Referred families:

• Referrred families may designate one referring family through the application process.
• There is an understanding of mutual accountability by making this designation.  That is, the referring family commits to encouraging excellence in the new student and the referred student acknowledges the role of the referring family in encouraging them to A Higher Standard.
